FOR RECRUITMENT OF STEWARD, COOK AND TOPASS
(SAFAIWALA), FOR BATCH 02/2013, COURSE
COMMENCING OCTOBER 2013
1. Eligibility conditions and primary job requirements are as follows: -
(a) Age. 17 to 21 years as on 01 October 2013 (born between 01 October 92 and 30 September
96, both dates inclusive)
(b) Eligibility conditions and job requirements:-
(i) Cook(MR). They should be matric/class 10th passed. They would be required to prepare
food as per menu (both vegetarian and non-vegetarian including handling of meat products)
and accounting of ration. In addition, they will also be allotted other duties for efficient running
of organisation.
(ii) Steward(MR). They should be matric/class 10th passed. They would be required to serve
food in the officers messes, as waiters, housekeeping, accounting of funds, wine and stores,
preparation of menu. In addition, they will also be allotted other duties for efficient running of
organisation.
(iii) Topass(NMR). They should be VI standard qualified and will work as safaiwala, including
cleaning of toilets. In addition, they will also be allotted other duties for efficient running of
organisation.
2. Detailed eligibility criteria, selection procedure and the application format are available at all Naval
Establishments, Rajya and Zila Sainik Board Offices and on website www.nausena-bharti.nic.in
3. The last date for receipt of application is 06 JANUARY 2013. For candidates of North
East, J & K, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep & Minicoy Islands last date of receipt
of application is 13 JANUARY 2013.
4. Call up letters for eligible short listed candidates will be posted, indicating date, time and place for
recruitment tests, which are scheduled during Mar to Apr 2013. The shortlisted candidates can also
download their Call Letter from website www.nausena-bharti.nic.in.

Persons claiming links with the officials of the Naval Recruitment Organisation may promise
to get a candidate recruited and on that pretext may collect money, WE WOULD LIKE TO ASSERT
THAT SUCH A THING IS NOT POSSIBLE. Application submitted BY HAND of any person are rejected
by Naval Headquarters. Applications which are received at specified post boxes only are accepted
for validation. All short-listed applicants are, thereafter, issued 'Call Up Letter cum Admit Card'.
