Educational qualifications :
(i) For Group C :
(a) 10th class pass or above for those candidates applying for the posts with Grade Pay Rs.1900/-.
(b) Graduation from any recognized University for those candidates applying for the post with Grade Pay of Rs.2800/-.
(ii) For Group D :
SSC or 8th passed (for outstanding sportspersons*). Candidates applying
for posts in Grade Pay Rs.1800/- and who have the qualification of 8th
passed will be appointed in (-) 1S Pay Band. Such sportspersons will be
given the regular pay band of PB-1 Rs.5200-20200 along with Grade Pay of
Rs.1800/- only on acquiring the minimum educational qualification under
the recruitment rules or passing the requisite training test
Mode of selection :
(i) Selection is based on total marks obtained by the candidates. The
distribution of marks is asunder:-S.No. Description Maximum Marks(i) For

(ii) Trials of the candidates shall be conducted to assess their sports
performance and suitability for Railway/Unit team as well as Indian
Railways team. Trial Committee shall give its recommendation in terms of
either FIT or NOT FIT for consideration for next stage, by giving marks
(maximum 40 marks), as per the criteria given below:-
(i) For game skill, physical fitness and : 40 Marks Coach’s observations during Trials.
(ii) FIT Candidate : Candidate securing 25marks or more.
(iii) NOT FIT candidate : Candidate securing marks below 25.
Fees :Rs.40/-
for post in Grade Pay Rs.1800/- or Rs.1900/- and Rs.60/- for those in
Grade PayRs.2400/2800/-. Fee should be paid in the form of crossed Bank
Draft/Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of Financial Advisor &
Chief Accounts Officer, South Central Railway payable at Secunderabad
for the posts of Headquarters and Senior Divisional Finance Managers of
respective divisions for the divisional posts. The fee is not refundable
under any circumstances.Candidates belonging to SC/ST communities,
Women, Minority and Economically Backward Classes (Family income is less
than Rs.50,000/- per annum) are exempted from the payment offees.

B) For recruitment in Group ‘D’ posts against Divisional quota :
The candidates desirous to apply to Group ‘D’ posts (against Divisional
quota) should send their applications to the respective Senior
Divisional Personnel Officer of the division to which they desire to

General Instructions:
(i) Candidate will be subjected to medical examination by Railway medical authorities prior to his/her appointment in the allotted post after due selection.
(ii) Candidates belonging to SC/ST communities will be given free
traveling authority in second class when called for trials/interview.
(iii) No TA/DA, Accommodation will be provided while appearing the
selections/trials/ interviews. Candidates should come prepared to stay
at the place of trials for 2-3 days. They have to bring their own sports
kit/equipment.
(iv) Non-fulfillment of any of the criteria mentioned in the advertisement will make the application liable for rejection.
(v) Selected candidates are liable to be posted anywhere on South Central Railway. Enclosures to be attached:

(viii) Income certificate in the cases of exemption of fees (as in Annexure – II)contd. Any legal matter arising out of the Employment Notice shall fall within the legal jurisdiction of Central Administrative Tribunal, Hyderabad only.
ix. The decision of Railway Administration in connection with the
selection is final. For nonselectionof the candidates no correspondence
will be entertained. The Railway Administration will not be responsible
for any postal delay or wrong delivery. Canvassing in any firm will
disqualify the candidate.
