Become a Junior Commission Officer (JCO) (Religious Teacher) in the Army

Applications are invited from male candidates only for recruitment as Junior Commissioned Officer (Religious Teacher) for RRT 71 course in the Indian Army who fulfill the following eligibility criteria 

JCO Religious Teacher : 36 posts (Pandit-31, Maulvi-3, Padre-2)
Age : 27-34 years for civilian  and 25-34 for remastered candidates.
Physical Standard: As applicable to the regular army [Height-155cm, Weight-50Kg, Chest – 77 cm, Candidate should be able to run one mile in eight minutes.
Pay Scale : JCO will get the pay scale of Naib Subedar of Rs. 9300-34800/-


PROCEDURE OF SELECTION:
 (a) The recruitment will be carried out through all the HQ Recruiting Zones, IRO Delhi Cantt, Ladakh Scout Regt Centre Leh and JAKLI Regt Centre Srinagar.

(b) Submission of Application : Application duly filled as per performa given in the advertisement will be submitted by the candidate along with the required documents duly super scribed (APPLICATION FOR JCO (RT) COURSE NO 71) on top outer cover of envelope to the HQ Rtg Zone / IRO Delhi Cantt / Ladakh Scout Regtl Centre Leh / JAK LI Regtl Trg Centre Srinagar of which the individual is a permanent native

(c) Candidates found eligible will be issued call up letters by the concerned office/recruiting organisation for initial screening which will include checking of original certificates followed by medical examination.

General Instructions:
1 . Duly fil led up Application as per the given format wi ll be addressed to concerned addressee as mentioned in Para 6, Write APPLICATION FOR JCO (RT) COURSE NO 71 on top of the envelope containing applications.
2 . Application may be handwritten or typed on A4 size paper as per the given format.
3 . Affix your recent passport size photograph without sun glasses at the space provide din the application form. Photograph taken with Polaroid camera or computer print will not be accepted.
4 . Enclose three self addressed stamped Registered envelopes issued by the Department of Post & Telegraph giving your present address with PIN Code on which acknowledgment/call up notice/reject ion slip is to be sent.
5 . A candidate whose application has been rejected earlier may apply again if eligible/age permits.
6 . All incomplete applications will be rejected.Al l above terms and conditions, vacancies and selection procedures are subject to change from time to time.
7. Candidates who are serving with any organization and are selected for the interview will produce “No Objection Certificate” from their employee at Zonal Recruiting Office be fore dispatch .
8. The candidates declared successful in the written examination and shortlisted for interview will be communicated about the interview dates by post through self addressed envelopes and the list will also be displayed at their respective HQ Recruiting Zones
9. The candidates are required to produce the fol lowing documents, when cal led for screening :-Character certificate by Sarpanch of the Village or authorized signatory of the State Government
10. Individuals with permanent tattoos on any part of the body less inner face of the forearm(inside of elbow to the wrist) and back (dorsal) part of hand / reverse side of palm are not eligible for recruitment
